一条保护长城的新思路

  昨天,北京市文物局透露,由于旅游资源的过渡开发,中国古长城的文化自然资源正在遭 受越来越严重的破坏。这一趋势引起了世界文化遗址基金会的高度重视,他们 已将长 城列入“2002年度100项世界文化遗址观察清单”之中。为了吸取,借鉴国际上保护大型文化 遗址的成熟理念和经验,北京市文物局昨天与由曾经徒步明长城2470公里的英国人威廉.林 赛发起的“国际长城之友协会”签订协议,合作进行北京段长城文化自然景观的保护工作... ...

  本报记者奚宇鸣报道:据本市文物普查统计,北京境内的长城有629 公里, 其中600 公里 属自然状态中的“野长城”,专家说这绵延于荒野之中的“野长城”才更具文化古韵。

   鉴于目前这些“野长城”也开始面临无序发展的旅游业的侵扰,昨天,北京市文物局和国际长城之友协会联合对外宣布,将进行保护长城(北京段)文化自然景观的国际合作,并签下了备忘录... ...
